The Field Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day management of field operations. This includes employees, equipment, customers, and company interaction. This position requires an ability to correctly identify tree species; an understanding of how trees work; knowledge of common tree diseases and pathogens; the impact of common construction practices on tree health; in addition to a keen attention to detail, adaptability, self-motivation, and organizational aptitude.

Responsibilites:

• Supervises in-field crew operations.
• Trains staff in proper pruning, removal, rigging, and stump removal practices. 
• Reviews and approves all climbing and driving training.
• Assists with crew scheduling.
• Manages and maintains equipment repair, preventive maintenance and maintenance schedules.

Duties:

• Work with management and sales staff to manage crew production.
• Train employees in proper Arboricultural practices.
• Coordination of work schedule with office.
• Manage absenteeism and PTO
• Ensure the quality control of pruning work.
• Manage equipment repair and maintenance schedules.
• Liaise with customers on site.
• Be present at crew launch each day.
• Interaction with customers as needed.

Skills:

• Bi-Lingual in Spanish
• CDL or ability to acquire one
• Experience in Tree Climbing, Removal, Pruining, Operation of Lift Truck, Chipper Truck, Chipper and Chainsaw use and maintenance.
• Rigging and crane removal experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential & commercial arboriculture (Required)
• Certified Arborist (Preferred)
• CDL (Preferred)
• Bi-lingual in Spanish (Preferred)
• TCIA CTSP (Preferred)

Pay:

• $90,000.00 per year 15% Bonus
